Super 8 by Wyndham Abilene KS

Jessica and the staff are always polite, smiling, helpful and work to make your trip a positive and memorable experience. The rooms with the microwave and minifridge permit a guest to relax as if in a home from home. I can not say enough of how much I appreciate the Super 8 in Abilene. The staff works with guests, good breakfast, CLEAN and I liked the hotel during my first stay in October, when I had to return, it was a no-brainer of where I wanted to spend my free time. Wi-fi is a great bonus too!

Decent hotel and decent price! The room was neat & clean, the bed was comfy. The two staff members we interacted with were friendly and helpful. We did not eat breakfast there (we had other breakfast plans), so I can't speak to that. We were in town for the weekend for an event, and spent 2 nights. For the price, we weren't expecting a Hilton, but were very happy with what we paid for. Good value, would stay there again.

One of the better ( by far) Super 8s where I've stayed. It has interior doors which keeps things quiet. Everything is carpeted, rather than the noisier vinyl tiled hotel facilities. It's cozier on a budget. Just under $60 all included. If you compare it to a 4 hotel that is what you should look 4. I found very little wrong worth mentioning. It certainly isn't full of the issues the negative reviews mentioned. The young lady at the desk was very polite. I found this motel a very good deal. Yes, I'm real, and not a hotel friendly bot. I am traveling (recent widower) from Colorado to Fla. I've been on this trip several times this year taking care of family business. I'd stop here again if needed. The only reason this received 4 stars over all was because we had an issue with the 1st room we were in. But when we went to the person at the desk he immediately put us in a different room. The service was great. The breakfast would of been better if they had waffles or something hot. But all they had were cold things. There was plenty of towels, wash rags & soaps. I was bummed they had no USB plugs for chargers like other hotels. But that's not absolutely necessary for them to provide. The Pillows were much better than other hotels I've been to. The air conditioner worked great! Over all its not bad for the price. I would stay again.

5-23-2025 we stayed here one night. Room 117 & floor very clean, no smells, no loud noises. Bed didn't smell. Had bath towels & wash clothes, but no hand towels, but that's ok, we lived. Ac a bit loud, compressor needs work. Need to have on hand an extra roll of toilet paper. Breakfast ok. In lobby, ice box needs cleaning. NIce hotel staff. Stairs inside. 5 steps to get to roIms on lower level or ground floor. Going down, last step hard to see as it bends in with carpet floor, & there is a handicap rail. But I don't think someone who is disabled or has trouble with stairs would not do well here. Hotel need to add reflective tape on carpet floor.

Service and staff are excellent. My husband had a couple conference calls on day we were to check out and they let us do late checkout so he wouldn't have to miss them. They had a variety of breakfast items to choose from... muffins... cereal... coffee... fresh fruit..... it was real nice even though they had to stop some of their items during this pandemic. The room was very clean and spacious. Even though they were busy... it was still quiet. The bed was firm... but comfortable. We have stayed at other hotels where the bed is so hard its hard to sleep on. I definitely will be back to visit again. The best part is it is right off the highway so getting off and on wasn't a problem.

Very Impressed! From the moment we walked into the lobby, everything was extremely clean! The front desk staff was very friendly, helpful, and was present every time we passed through the lobby. The rooms seemed to be updated recently, was super clean, beds were amazing, this hotel was definitely worth the price we paid. We will definitely be back to stay again!!
